Carole D. Bos is a trial lawyer and a nationally respected author and lecturer. Bos is a frequent presenter for state and national legal programs on trial advocacy. She has handled many major cases, in state and federal courts, throughout the country. Mrs. Bos has written numerous articles in professional journals and has co-authored two legal books. As a four-year co-chair of the ABA Section of Litigation Insurance Coverage Committee, Mrs. Bos achieved national recognition. As current co-chair of the Advertising/Intellectual Property Subcommittee of the Insurance Coverage Litigation Committee, she continues to be at the national forefront of developing coverage issues.

Mrs. Bos is also a popular motivational speaker whose presentations focus on her inspirational books. Life Is a Nonstop Event, about maintaining perspective as we go through the ups and downs of life, is a source of comfort to many readers and listeners. Marriage Is a Balance Beam, about the joys and sorrows of marriage, is a source of humor and reflection on today’s hectic lifestyle and its impact on marriage. Family Is a Safety Net, her forthcoming book about aging baby boomers, is an honest look at competing demands on family life.

Bradley K. Glazier is a trial lawyer and arbitrator. Glazier is a frequent speaker at employment litigation seminars. He has made presentations for the Council on Education in Management, the Michigan Trial Lawyers Association, and the Institute for Continuing Litigation. Glazier is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. Membership in this prestigious organization limited to trial lawyers who have won million and multi-million dollar verdicts, awards and settlement. He has also been a contributing author to the Michigan Chamber of Commerce publications and is a member of the National Association of Employment Lawyers. Glazier has been appointed as a referee for the Michigan Department of Civil Rights and serves as an arbitrator for The American Arbitration Associations. Glazier is an officer of the Western Michigan Chapter of the Federal Bar Association and has served on the Jury Representation Committee of the Grand Rapids Bar Association. He is a member and past chairperson of the Labor and Employment Section of the Grand Rapids Bar Association. He is also a member of the Standing Committee for Local Rules for the Western Michigan Chapter of the Federal Bar Association.

In addition to trying numerous cases throughout Michigan, Glazier has argued cases before the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and the Michigan Court of Appeals. He has also been admitted to practice in the United States Supreme Court and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Susan Wilson Keener received her Juris Doctor, cum laude, in 1984 from Indiana University School of Law. Her undergraduate degree was earned magna cum laude from DePauw University where she was inducted as a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Prior to becoming a principal in the firm of Bos & Glazier, she was associated with the law firms of Buchanan & Bos and Miller, Johnson, Snell & Cummiskey in Grand Rapids. Her practice focuses on family law, environmental coverage litigation and general civil litigation.

Ms. Keener was recently elected to the Executive Committee of the Grand Rapids Bar Association to serve as Secretary. She is the immediate past-chairperson of the Continuing Legal Education Committee and continues as a liaison member. She has also served on the History, Program and Community Relations (including its chairperson) committees of the Grand Rapids Bar. She recently finished a term on the Board of Directors for the Litigation Section and is co-chair of the CLE Committee for the Family Law Section of the Grand Rapids Bar Association. Ms. Keener served on the Communications Committee and Legal Milestone Subcommittee for the State Bar of Michigan. She has served as an adjunct faculty member of Grand Valley State University in its Legal Studies Department, is a past President of the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan - Western Region and a past Director at Large for the State Women Lawyers Association. She lectures on family law issues, including a presentation to local politicians at a Legislative Roundtable on Michigan divorce reform efforts. Ms. Keener was selected by the Kent County Circuit Court to serve as a Facilitator for Family Law Settlement Week, a program designed to assist the Court in reducing its docket overload.

Ms. Keener is also actively involved in community service activities. She served on the Kent County American Red Cross Board of Directors until 1995, when she was awarded its Outstanding Leadership Award, and was the Financial Development Committee Chair. She is a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, where she serves on its Adult Education Council, Crisis Task Force, Family Life Council, Committee on the Status and Role of Women in Society and a Bishop's Task Force.

~GWEN E. BUDAY~[EMAIL]

Gwen E. Buday received her law degree in 1989 from Wayne State University Law School. She earned her undergraduate degree, with honors, from Calvin College in 1986. Buday has co-taught a business law course at Grand Rapids Community College and guest lectured at Calvin College on the law as a career choice in the 1990s. Buday specializes in environmental coverage litigation, general commercial litigation and civil appeals work.

In addition to her practice and full-time duties as mother to four small children, Buday is actively involved in community service. She served on the Board of Directors of one of the nation’s largest Right to Life affiliates, Grand Rapids Right to Life, through 1995, and was Editor of its monthly newsletter for several years. She has also served on the Board of Directors of Solutions, a non-profit drug treatment center. Buday is a member of St. Thomas More Student Parish, where she is active in its church school and nursery programs.
